The Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio has often played unconventional characters onscreen, like his roles in The Wolf of Wall Street and The Revenant.  However, all his films were mostly sold out and had collectively grossed more than $7.2 billion worldwide. That makes the actor among the richest and highest-paid actors in the industry. Apart from acting, however, he is also an environmentalist. He drives a Prius, which he says is friendly to the environment.

Taking it further, he purchased a Tesla Roadster, too, and found it even better as it runs on electricity and not gas, allowing him to reduce his carbon footprint. The actor owns many houses, at least six of them, with a total worth of at least $36.67 million. Most of his properties are in California, and he even has one in a Malibu cove that he purchased for $23 million. This cottage sits next to a property owned by Courteney Fox. Leonardo also owns a private island—how about that?
