Smokey Robinson

Big names in Hollywood would not be complete without Smokey Robinson. He is a singer, producer, and former record executive who was also the frontman and founder of the Miracles, a Motown vocal group. Smokey was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 for his significant contribution to popular music.

Smokey has owned various houses, including one in Encino, which he sold more than 18 years ago after owning it for more than ten years. The Southern Colonial house was sold for $2.3 million and featured a boxwood topiary and a large fountain feature. It had five bedrooms and boasted of seven baths. For sure, it also had ample home insurance coverage. The new owner made renovations and expansion and is now seeking $8.75 million. It sure was worth the money poured into it as the new owner stands to gain more than triple the initial cost.
