J. R. Smith

J.R. Smith made his basketball debut in 2004 after he was selected to play in New Orleans Hornets. Later he was named the rookie of the month for three consecutive months, and two years later, he got transferred to the Denver Nuggets, where he gained an average of 15.2 points in 81 games during the 2008-2009 NBA Season. When game officials temporarily put the NBA season to a halt in 2011, the athlete flew to China to continue his basketball career by joining the Chinese Basketball Association’s Zhejiang Golden Bulls.

He then returned to the NBA the following year and got drafted in New York Knicks (from 2012 up to 2015). During his stay on the team, he was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year. After that, he played for the Cavaliers for four years and is currently playing for Los Angeles Lakers.
