Paula Deen

Many of us begin developing our talents at a young age. In Paula Deen’s case, this talent was cooking. Before she found her way to starting a catering service, Paula first worked various jobs, including hanging wallpapers, working as a bank teller, and selling insurance and real estate. Since then, she has had the chance to appear in shows like Ready, Set, Cook, Doorknock Dinners, and eventually even had her shows like Paula’s Home Cooking, Paula’s Party, and Paula’s Dishes.

She also wrote more than a few books through the years, including a few cookbooks and her memoir It Ain’t All About the Cookin’. With her ever-growing fortunes, Paula Deen eventually got to establish more than a few restaurants around America. In recent years, Paula has been residing in her home in Savannah, Georgia, where she also operates her two restaurants, The Lady & Sons and Paula Deen’s Creek House, with her two sons.
