The earlier years of the film industry was a period filled with several discoveries. One notable breakthrough was the capability to make colored films finally. One such actress that received widespread fame during this era was Rhonda Fleming. Her first acting gig was in collaboration with legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock in the movie, Spellbound. Soon after, she landed more roles for titles like The Spiral Staircase, Abilene Town, Adventure Island, and Out of the Past.
Later on, Rhoda was able to land a project alongside singer-actor Bing Crosby in the musical-comedy feature A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court. Not only did it showcase her excellent singing talent, but the movie was also Fleming’s first Technicolor film, truly displaying her beauty and gorgeous red hair. Not long after, the actress took credit for being the Queen of Technicolor. Thanks to her efforts and contributions, Rhonda Fleming eventually got herself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
