After starting her career modeling for a few covers, Brigitte Bardot eventually got the chance to become an actress. Through the years, Bardot got to land a role for titles like Crazy for Love, The Long Teeth, His Father’s Portrait, and Helen of Troy. Although some of her portrayals were for relatively minor characters, the actress still managed to receive widespread recognition from audiences and peers. After working in 47 films and having made 60 songs, Bardot decided to retire from her career and has since become an animal activist. In 1958, Brigitte Bardot spent a portion of her investment money on a lovely ocean-view estate located in Saint-Tropez, France. Soon after, she bought another property nearby, raising several animals, including pigs, donkeys, and horses. We bet she’s enjoying her peaceful life away from the public eye.
