Lee Meriwether

Before she found success as an actress, Lee Meriwether was the talk of the town thanks to her stint as a model – she won 1955’s Miss America pageant. That eventually landed her a spot as the Today Girl from 1955 to 1956 in The Today Show. Soon after, Meriwether got her first acting credit in the movie 4D Man. After starring in more than a few shows in the ‘60s, the actress then found widespread recognition with her role as Betty Jones in Barnaby Jones.

Since then, Meriwether has starred in other projects like The Munsters Today, The Ultimate Gift, Wizards of Waverly Place, and No Limit Kids: Much Ado About Middle School. Like other celebrities, fans don’t know much about Meriwether’s whereabouts outside the spotlight. Even so, perhaps it’s safe to say that the actress has since been enjoying her personal life with her husband of more than three decades, Marshall Borden.
