Kamala Harris
Before being known as the United States vice president, Kamala Harris was first known as the District Attorney of San Francisco, California, from 2004 up to 2011. In 2011, she ended her tenure as the District Attorney. Kamala became the Attorney General and worked on fighting for LGBT rights, Consumer Protection and Public Safety. In 2017, she had a successful bid to become a Senator after defeating Loretta Sanchez.
Today, Kamala has a total net worth of $5 million. Kamala’s properties include her Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington DC homes worth $8 million. These lavish purchases aren’t surprising, though, considering that she has a massive salary of $157,000 amassed from her job as a senator. Her salary can indeed sustain whatever expenses she has, whether it’s the mortgages of her three properties or other needs. This coming January 20, 2021, she will be sworn in as the 46th Vice President of the United States.
