George Strait

Born and raised in Texas, George Strait, had a degree in agriculture at Southwest Texas State University before joining the US Army. While on service, he began singing in the band, Rambling Country, and eventually built his band, Ace in the Hole. In 1980, George signed a recording contract with MCA Records and had produced various albums, some of which have been certified platinum and multi-platinum during the following years.

George stays true to the traditional country sound, which gave him numerous accolades and millions of records sold. Throughout his career, he was honored with two CMA Awards, a Grammy Award, an Album of the Year, Single of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year award at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Although George had his final concert years ago at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, he still has five more albums left in his contract with MCA Records. But aside from his music career, George is also into steer-roping, skiing, and golf.
