Jerry Seinfeld

Actor-comedian Jerry Seinfield sparked an interest in comedy because of the influence of his father. He started his comic training at a young age by watching TV every day, learning different techniques from comedians. Credit to his time, effort, and hard work, he was able to develop his unique style of comedy. After studying communications and theater at Queens College, City University of New York, he did his first stand-up performance at Catch a Rising Start nightclub. Later on, Jerry had his first national appearance on The Tonight Show in 1981, which made him one of the highest-profile stand-up comedians in the United States.

After Jerry claimed success as a comedian, he invested in creating a sitcom under his name for NBC and worked with fellow comedian, Larry David. The show was a hit and ran for nine seasons. In fact, its final episode obtained the highest rating in the US. Jerry also wrote a best-selling humorous observational book entitled Seinlanguage and starred in the animated film, Bee Movie, in 2007.
