Meg Ryan

One of the most successful actresses in the 1990s to early 2000s is Meg Ryan. She began her acting career with minor and supporting roles, and later had her breakthrough film, When Harry Met Sally. The film brought her massive attention, as well as a Golden Globe nomination. Since then, she was able to land the lead for films like Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, The Doors, and more. Although Meg failed to finish her degree in journalism, she still managed to get into several television commercials and soap operas to earn money.

In 2012, Meg was featured in the documentary film, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide. She released an audiobook recording of William Saroyan’s, The Human Comedy. After taking a short break, she got back with an improvisational comedy series, Web Therapy, along with Lisa Kudrow.
