Howard Stern

Howard Allan Stern is an American television and radio personality, comedian, and host of The Howard Stern Show. His show gained popularity when it got nationally syndicated by terrestrial radio from 1986 to 2005. He won numerous industry awards, eight consecutive times as Billboard’s Nationally Syndicated Air Personality of the Year. Stern is the first to simultaneously have the number one morning show in New York City and Los Angeles.

He became the most fined radio host — he’s been issued fines totaling $2.5 million, most of which came from station owners complaining about his indecent content. He became one of the highest-paid radio figures when he signed a deal with Sirius worth $500 million. He was called the “King of all Media,” and he made sure his investments would be intact for the future. It is great to have this outspoken man in the industry.
