George Foreman

In another world, chances are we could’ve witnessed what George Foreman would be like as a football player – he was initially quite a fan of the sport, after all. Despite his interests, he eventually shifted his focus to the world of boxing. Throughout his professional career, spanning from 1969 to 1997, George got the chance to win the heavyweight championship twice and even won himself an Olympic gold medal. By the time he retired, with a record of five losses and 76 wins, 68 of which were knockouts, he also took credit for being the oldest boxer to win the heavyweight championship, at 46 years old.

After he said his farewells to his boxing gloves, George became a successful businessman. Among his business ventures, however, the most notable one is arguably the George Foreman Grill, a portable electrically heated grill. Since its launch in 1994, over 100 million units have been sold. In fact, as of 2011, the former boxer earned $200 million just from its endorsements.
