Nas

Nasir Jones, more popularly known as Nas, is a rapper and songwriter who first rose to fame with his debut album Illmatic in 1994. This was after he was featured on hip-hop group Main Source’s record Live at the Barbecue. Out of the twelve albums that he has released, seven of them have achieved platinum and multi-platinum status. Outside of his rapping career, Nas has also tried out other business ventures, and has put investments towards a restaurant called Sweet Chick restaurant — he hopes to expand the brand all around America.

For the fashion industry, Nas started his clothing line called HSTRY, where he contributes his artistic vision to the clothes’ designs. Aside from these, he also created the venture capital firm QueensBridge Venture Partners, where he invested funds for startup companies that range from healthcare to technology, including Dropbox, Genius, and Lyft.
