Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey is a name that is recognized by almost everyone in the world today thanks to her great approach to hosting, which is most notable in The Oprah Winfrey Show – it is still the highest-rated talk show in America. But other than her career as a talk show host, Oprah also founded the production company Harpo, Inc. Through Harpo, Oprah got to work on films like 1998’s Beloved, which was based on Toni Morrison’s novel.

In the early 2000s, Oprah launched her magazines O, The Oprah Magazine, and O at Home – the former now has more than 200 million monthly readers. With all these investments returning a good fortune to her, Oprah makes it a point to give a part of it to charity organizations, hoping to improve the healthcare and education that is being provided to those in need.
