Larry David

Lawrence Gene David or Larry David was born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 2nd of 1947. After getting a degree from the University of Maryland, Larry signed up for the United States Army Reserve to offer his services to the country. However, his time in service was never needed and he opted to pursue a different career instead. Larry wanted to pursue a career in stand-up comedy but didn’t really find immediate success, which is why he juggled different jobs just to get by.

Larry’s big break happened when he did a stand-up comedy gig at Folk City in Greenwich Village — and within the next few years, Larry took up a job as a scriptwriter and minor role actor. Larry initially worked for ABC and Saturday Night Live, which were two of the factors that helped him reach success. After partnering up with Jerry Seinfeld to create Seinfeld, Larry’s fortune finally started flowing in and he has since won numerous awards and nominations from his businesses and partnership with Seinfeld. Larry also has a show called Curb Your Enthusiasm and it is one of the most successful shows of his time. Larry undoubtedly has one of the most talented and gifted minds in the industry and his shows are proof that his business savvy is on point.
