Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell is, to his credit, one of the most prominent English music and television personalities that the industry has seen, and musicians that have met him as a judge on shows such as The American Idol, Britain’s Got Talent, and The X-Factor regard him as the hardest to please. Simon is known to have a stern and fierce personality when it comes to working and there is no doubt that he has influenced many musician’s careers.

Simon started his career in EMI Music Publishing, which is his father’s company, and from his position, he diligently worked to become a record producer. During this time, Simon met Pete Waterman, the man from whom he learned most of the values that he upholds today. Today, Simon is still consistently adding to his knowledge and expertise, and contributing to the productions under BMG Sony and his label SyCo, which also produces competition and reality TV shows.
