Richard Gere

Richard Tiffany Gere, or more famously known as Richard Gere, is an American actor and film producer who has had a very successful career in Hollywood thus far. Richard started his journey in entertainment in the 70s when he first took roles for Days of Heaven and Mr. Goodbar, two movies that signaled the start of his acting career. However, what really pushed his reputation to reach global acclaim and solidified his reputation as a Hollywood symbol was the movie American Gigolo.

Richard would go on to play roles in several hits such as Chicago, Primal Fear, and Pretty Woman. Richard has also taken steps into the field of business by putting up the Tibet House US and the Gere Foundation. He is also the chairman of the board of directors for the international campaign for Tibet. To his credit, Gere was able to use his fame to bring attention to a number of worthwhile causes.
