Wesley Snipes

Wesley Snipes easily belongs in the Mt. Rushmore of African American actors. The actor was born Wesley Trent Snipes on July 31st, 1962. While performing arts were obviously a focus for Snipes from a young age, he was also heavily involved in martial arts. He is, to his credit, truly a remarkable talent who rose to international stardom for starring in memorable films such as White Men Can’t Jump, Demolition Man, and the Blade trilogy.

He achieved his greatest commercial success for the Blade film series, which easily earned hundreds of millions of dollars in ticket sales worldwide. Outside of acting, Snipes has his own production company for film and television and has produced films like A Great and Mighty Walk: Dr. John Henrik Clarke. He also owns a security company that provides security for VIPs and focuses on hiring personnel with law enforcement and martial arts backgrounds.
