Ellen DeGeneres

Ellen DeGeneres is well-known for hosting the show The Ellen DeGeneres Show. But her career hasn’t always been uphill. DeGeneres’ first rose to fame for her acting credit in the TV sitcom Ellen. After the show stopped airing, Ellen was out of the spotlight for a couple of years. Fortunately, she regained her footing when she got the chance to voice the lovable fish, Dory, in 2000’s Finding Nemo – eventually granting her the opportunity to start her The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

With her show performing exceptionally in terms of views and reception, Ellen has racked up enough money for her to donate to charity and fundraising events. As for one of her hobbies, DeGeneres would also purchase homes and eventually sell them after a couple of years of ownership – kind of like her own real estate business venture.
