The American actor, producer, and screenwriter, Matt Damon, is known in the industry as one of the most successful individuals in Hollywood. When discussing his films, his peers would put him on the top of their list of bankable actors in show business. In fact, his films have collectively earned over $3.12 billion from the North American box office alone — this doesn’t include what they’ve earned from various parts of the globe.

In 2000, Matt Damon, along with fellow Hollywood personalities Ben Affleck, Chris Moore, and Sean Bailey, teamed up to create LivePlanet, a production company that made a couple of successful films during that decade. A couple of years later, they disbanded their core group and went on their separate ways to form independent production companies. Damon really has a sharp mind when it comes to investments, and he later teamed up once again with Affleck to establish Pearl Street Films.
