Jennifer Meyer and Tobey Maguire are in the works for legal separation, four years after they confirmed that they failed in their marriage. The Spiderman actor and the jewelry designer tied the knot in 2007, only to announce their split in 2016. Meyer and Maguire may have tried to work things out within the course of that four years. After all, they have two children, Otis, 11, and Ruby, 13, who needed their support as they grow up.

However, it seemed like both were not able to come in good terms romantically as Meyer formally sought her attorney’s help regarding their separation and custody of their two kids. Reports revealed that Meyer and Maguire were no longer in connection with each other, with the former always being sociable while the actor wanted to keep a lowkey, private lifestyle. Hollywood is indeed a tough place to maintain a marriage.
