Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were once one of Hollywood’s favorite couples, but their love story gradually came to an end. The two shocked the world following their marriage in 2008 after a weeks-long romance. Cannon knew from the outset that given her degree of fame, Carey would still dominate the spotlight. He was still building his career at the time, but he still tried his best to be supportive. The couple went through many ups and downs before they decided to go their separate ways in 2016.

Despite no longer being married, the two have tried to maintain some sort of relationship for their twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
