Berry Gordy & Diana Ross
Originally a member of the highly successful singing group The Supremes, Diana Ross went on to enjoy a profitable solo career. Before stealing the spotlight, she began a relationship with Motown founder Berry Gordy. It lasted several years, and they welcomed their child, Rhonda Suzanne, in 1971. The two were never married, and Diana followed her heart and tied the knot with music executive Robert Ellis Silberstein, who raised Rhonda as his own.
Rhonda followed in her mom’s footsteps. She became a singer, a songwriter, and a public speaker. She even performed as an opening act in her mother’s concert tour in 2013. Until today, she still partners with her superstar mom in their music investments, including the 32-day summer tour held in Las Vegas and other cities. She is now married to fellow musician Rodney Kendrick, with whom she has a child.
