Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban

A good example of love at first sight is that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who remain firmly in love for more than a decade. Just a year after their first meeting in 2005, they exchanged vows in June 2006. They had their big day in their native Australia in a Catholic ceremony. Guests who attended the ceremony and the following reception were star-studded, including fellow Aussies Hugh Jackman, Russell Crow, and Baz Luhrmann.

In addition to being star-studded, the ceremony was quite lavish. Kidman wore a short-sleeve lace one-shoulder gown made by Nicolas Ghesquiere, which was paired with a long veil. Around 1,000 candles illuminated throughout the wedding venue. Like Kidman’s dress, the flowers were all white. While it was quite lavish, the then-newlyweds asked their guests to donate to a children’s hospital instead of giving them gifts, which is a sweet investment that was done.
