The Most Extravagant Celebrity Weddings You’ll Never Forget

It’s no secret that weddings are pricey occurrences, regardless of how well you plan your money management. With their unlimited big-day finances, some lucky brides and grooms have taken it to a whole new level, earning them a spot on the list of the most expensive weddings of all time. These couples spent a lot of money on their weddings—we’re talking eight figures (yes, you read that right!). Because, naturally, if you’ve found the one and have the financial means to do so, why not throw a wedding to remember?

When it comes to the day of your wedding, all bets are off when you’re famous. Some celebrities break the rule and prefer to keep things low-key, while others go all out. This frequently entails destination weddings, six-figure wedding gowns, exorbitant security costs to keep paparazzi at bay, and a slew of other pricey extras. After all, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – for some, at least. A look from the outside to their private aircraft, these weddings are usually designed to wow. Take a look back at the lavish weddings that won our hearts, dominated our social media feeds, and were all we could speak about.

George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin

You know it’s going to be a huge party when a legendary bachelor like George Clooney finally settles down. The Oscar-winning actor and his now-wife tied the knot in Italy throughout a four-day weekend.

The wedding celebrations of the actor and human rights lawyer looked like they came straight out of a high-end film. Clooney and Alamuddin’s wedding is said to have cost $4.6 million, including accommodations at the five-star Hotel Cipriani and 5-course reception banquets for all of their guests. They spent about $3 million budget on 95 rooms for its guests. The wedding feast at the hotel was a raucous affair, with 250 bottles of champagne, 200 bottles of Grey Goose vodka, and 600 bottles of Casamigos Tequila! For Clooney and Alamuddin, one wedding celebration isn’t enough. Just weeks after marrying in Italy, the newlyweds attended the second reception in Buckinghamshire, England.

Sean Parker & Alexandra Lenas

Sean Parker is the persona impersonated by Justin Timberlake in the film The Social Network. Parker, the founder of Napster and the first President of Facebook, married singer-songwriter Alexandra Lenas. They held it in an extravagant $10-million event in Big Sur, California’s forest environs. The room is full of 364 of their closest relatives and friends, dressed in “Tolkien-esque” attire.

People genuinely gasped as they emerged into a meadow with a riot of color, credits to planted flowers and hanging garlands. A long list of prominent guests helped the couple ring in their big day, including Olivia Munn, Emma Watson, and Twitter founder Jack Dorsey. The millionaire Napster inventor revealed that he and Lenas called the Save the Redwoods League for advice on the ideal location for their wedding. They gave the organization a “significant donation” – a fraction of their alleged multi-million dollar budget.

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel

Long-time sweethearts Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s wedding was one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings ever. The lovebirds chose a destination wedding in a private house in the Italian hills in October 2012.

The star-studded affair took place in a private Pugliese estate, where the paparazzi had no possibility of snapping photos of the several celebrities in attendance. Timberlake serenaded his bride in front of 100 close friends and family members as she walked down the aisle. The bride wore a Giambattista Valli pink princess gown that was out of the ordinary. They didn’t scrimp on the cuisine, serving a delectable appetizer and cocktail hour before a four-course supper featuring sea bass, lobster, and steak. Guests rocked into the early hours of the morning at the party, which lasted until 5 a.m. Even if it reportedly set the couple back over a staggering $6 million, we are pretty sure that didn’t hurt their investments.

Donald & Melania Trump

Donald Trump married Melania Trump in a spectacular wedding in Palm Beach, Florida, on January 22, 2005. Many of the guests were offered complimentary accommodations at Mar-a-Lago. They pampered them with bathrobes embroidered with their initials, spa treatments, and golf rounds before the wedding.

The former model looked stunning in a Christian Dior wedding gown with 300 feet (91 meters) of silk and weighed more than four stones. Melania could hardly walk in the spectacular $148,000 dress, yet it put her on the cover of Vogue magazine. She wore a bespoke set of rosary beads intertwined with flowers instead of a bouquet. The color scheme was “classic white,” and the centerpieces were 1.5-meter tall hydrangeas, roses, orchids, and gardenias. Outside, a jet flew overhead with a banner reading “Melania, You’re Hired,” a play on Trump’s catchphrase from The Apprentice. The wedding is said to have cost around $1 million, but given their investment money, it could have cost much more.

Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries made headlines, but not for being the shortest marriage ever recorded. The matrimony was held at a private home in Montecito and featured a black-and-white theme, from the clothes to the décor, which included thousands of white roses. Although they split soon after, they immortalized their wedding on TV credits to E!

The bride wore three custom-made Vera Wang gowns on her wedding day, including an ivory ball gown for the ceremony and two other form-fitting gowns for the reception. Bridesmaids, on the other hand, wore white Vera Wang mermaid-style wedding gowns. Kardashian fared well in the separation, receiving almost $2 million in wedding gifts and a stunning $1 million to hold her wedding on live TV. So we’re guessing she wasn’t too upset that she gave her ex the right to sell the ring.

Catherine Zeta-Jones & Michael Douglas

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones gathered their closest friends and family to hear their vows at the Plaza Hotel in New York City – in what was dubbed “the wedding of the year.” Choosing not to have a destination wedding saved the couple a lot of investment money, but the opulent event still cost them $1.5 million.

The bride donned a handmade Christian Lacroix gown with hand beading that cost $140,000, but it pales compared to her tiara, which reportedly cost $300,000. Guests displayed their invites, decked out with invisible ink and holograms to discourage any wedding crashers, and the Hollywood duo reportedly hired 50 rent-a-cops for the big day. A 40-member Welsh choir performed at the ceremony along with Art Garfunkel and Jimmy Buffett. The couple asked their guests to give money to a trust fund set up for the couple’s son in place of gifts.

Celine Dion & Rene Angelil

Celine Dion’s wedding to René Angelil could be called a royal affair in its own right. Back in 1994, their winter nuptial was the buzz of the town, and the singer made sure the press had something to report on.

Their wedding took place at Montreal’s Notre-Dame Basilica, and we’ll never forget the first look we had at Dion’s stunning gown. The Think Twice singer picked a splendid dress with a six-meter-long train made by Mirella and Steve Gentile in the style of a vintage-inspired gown. The garment has taken over 1,000 hours to put together, with a headdress made up of over 2,000 Swarovski crystals. The headgear alone was said to weigh 3kg and sewed into her hair to keep it in place. In comparison, it may not seem like much in today’s terms – especially given Dion’s investments – the cloth alone has cost $25,000. Now, this is a classic style that we will remember forever.

Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise

When Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes married, they didn’t skimp on the details, spending $3 million on their fireworks-filled wedding day.

The couple married in Italy in November 2006, and it was to an astonishing degree. The pair celebrated for three days, culminating in the 15th-century Odescalchi Castle in Italy. Everything about the wedding, from the setting to the food, made it feel like a fairy tale. They served sea bass and risotto and approximately 300 bottles of red wine and champagne, which cost the newlyweds $18,000. Holmes, on the other hand, picked a magnificent Giorgio Armani wedding gown that was custom-made for her. The outfit was reportedly covered in Swarovski crystals, done for over 350 hours and cost an estimated $50,000. They entertained their guests with fireworks and several musical acts, including Andrea Bocelli and Mark Ronson in the DJ booth, after the event.

Liza Minnelli & David Gest

Despite being a significant figure in the music industry, David Gest is most famous with Liza Minnelli – credits to a whirlwind relationship and insane wedding that made tabloids drool.

When we say “crazy,” we mean it. Minnelli put out all the stops for her fourth wedding, with an 850-person guest list, insane tabloid coverage, and an oh-so-chic Fifth Avenue location. The wedding party was a jumble of celebrities, with Elizabeth Taylor serving as maid of honor and the King of Pop himself Michael Jackson standing as best man. The bejeweled bride walked down the aisle in an ivory crepe Bob Mackie. She later covered up with a floor-length white mink coat on her way to her reception at the Regent Hotel. Natalie Cole sang the newlyweds Unforgettable, a song written by her father. Tony Bennett performed with a 60-piece orchestra for VIPs who dined on a 12-tier wedding cake. They received personalized favors enclosed in satin candy boxes stamped with the words “Liza and David 4 Ever.”

Katy Perry & Russell Brand

Katy Perry has dated some of Hollywood’s finest men in recent years, but she was once married to British comedian Russell Brand. Perry and Brand got engaged on New Year’s Eve, and they married in October 2010. Although neither of them is of South Asian heritage or follows the Hindu faith, their wedding was heavily influenced by both.

The couple moved back to the country, where Brand proposed, and the couple said, “I do.” The ceremony was held near the Ranthambore tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan, with the backdrop of the “inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India.” There were just 80 people in attendance as well. Laxmi and Mala, two elephants, were in attendance for the big day and even entered the site on a red carpet. The groom went to the area where the bride awaits during the Bharat or traditional Indian wedding procession. Well, we are not sure how much it cost them. Given their fortune and investments, such a lavish wedding is not at all surprising.

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden

Nicole Richie has dreamed of wearing a dress inspired by Grace Kelly’s gown and having an elephant for good luck since she was a little girl. When she married Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden in 2010, she was able to bring it all together.

Richie married Madden in a super-secret, star-studded ceremony at Lionel Richie’s investment Beverley Hills estate. The glowing bride marched down the aisle in a $20,000 Marchesa gown custom-made for her. She hired renowned hairdresser Byron Williams to style her locks for the intimate event. Even though their French garden motif was elegant, there was one unusual guest in attendance: a real live elephant! What?! He came there to wish everyone “good luck” and was said to be a big hit with the 155 people in attendance. Guests are said to have dined on butternut squash ravioli, truffle mushrooms, risotto, and filet mignon while sitting at white tables and chairs in the gardens. Later, they partied till the wee hours of the morning on a specially built dancefloor over the pool.

David & Victoria Beckham

Victoria and David Beckham married in July 1999, after the former soccer player set his sights on the fashion designer while staying at a hotel. Although more than 20 years have passed since they said “I do,” the wedding remains one of the most spectacular celebrity weddings ever. David and Victoria’s marriage might have quickly passed for a royal wedding, with their gold thrones and matching costumes.

For the big day, an estimated 230 guests flew to Dublin. Manchester United teammates including Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, and Dwight Yorke were in attendance. Victoria resembled a princess in a satin Vera Wang gown with a 20-foot train and an 18-carat gold crown fashioned by jeweler Slim Barrett for the ceremony. At the same time, David resembled Prince Charming in an ivory suit. Later, the couple, along with 4-month-old Brooklyn, changed into purple outfits. The couple married in Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland and was said to have cost $800,000. Well, if you got their fortune and investments, then a mock-royal union is no-sweat.

Tori Spelling & Charlie Shanian

We all know that the former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress Tori Spelling is married to Dean McDermott, and they have four children together. However, Spelling was first married to her first husband, Charlie Shanian, in a lavish $1-million ceremony. Spelling starred in the play Maybe Baby, It’s You when she met Shanian in Los Angeles.

She picked a “Great Gatsby” theme for their wedding and wore a Badgley Mischka gown with beaded details and a diamond and platinum headpiece. The wedding took place in Los Angeles at the vast Spelling estate, and the guests enjoyed a champagne fountain and Wolfgang Puck-prepared dishes. The couple also spent more than $100,000 on their wedding rings and flowers, so you can imagine how extravagant this occasion was. Too bad their marriage did not last. After his marriage ended, Shanian seemed to fade from the spotlight and hasn’t had any acting credits since 2006.

Khloé Kardashian & Lamar Odom

Although Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s marriage did not last a decade, their
wedding is still hailed as one of the most unforgettable moments in Keeping Up With the Kardashians history. The youngest Kardashian sister married Odom after only one month of dating. The gathering took place at Irving Azoff, and celebrity florist Mark Garden designed triple arches of white roses for this spectacular black-tie event.

Kardashian wore a purple Vera Wang gown with a strapless, figure-hugging sash. Laker Kobe Bryant, Chelsea Handler, and Lala Vazquez were among the celebrity guests at the opulent wedding. The bridesmaids wore purple, and the tented reception had a Hollywood nightclub vibe—complete with white carpeting, silver mirrors, and chandeliers. In terms of entertainment, Babyface performed during the reception, and the couple brought in a DJ from Manhattan to keep the party going into the wee hours of the morning. Even if they spent too much on their wedding, we are sure it won’t hurt their investment money.

Ivanka Trump & Jared Kushner

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have been married for more than a decade now. Together, the couple shares three wonderful children named Arabella Rose, Theodore James, and Joseph Frederick. However, before they came to have their lovely family, Trump and Kushner started their couple’s journey by pouring tons of investments into the wedding of their dreams. After proposing with a 5.22-carat ring in hand, Kushner left the reigns of wedding planning to his beautiful bride. Trump stunned everyone in attendance with her custom Vera Wang gown. Given the high-profile status of the bride and groom, the guests in attendance were equally prominent, including Natalie Portman, Anna Wintour, and Regis Philbin, among others.

The wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. One of the event’s stars is the 13-layer wedding cake that was enveloped with a variety of flowers. By the end of the night, guests were treated to an adorable souvenir: a pair of Trump and Kushner-branded slippers.

Julianne Hough & Brooks Laich

Just a few months after their split, Brooks Laich could not help but reminisce on his dreamy wedding to his ex-wife, Julianne Hough. Laich is a former professional athlete, while Hough is well known for acting credits in Footloose, Safe Haven, and Rock of Ages. The former couple had the nuptial of their dreams back in 2007. They partied with their families and friends before the big day. The wedding was held outdoors beside a lake in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Hough looked stunning in her Marchesa gown as she walked down the aisle with her dad. The custom dress was reportedly worth $20,000. After exchanging their vows, Laich whisked Hough away in a speed boat.

Following the fairytale-like ceremony, the celebratory reception commenced. Hough was surprised by her best friends with a special dance number. Although they are no longer together, they will always have the memory of their wedding to go back to.

Sean Lowe & Catherine Giudici

Many were really focused during the 17th season finale of The Bachelor, as Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici tied the knot live in front of their friends and family, Bachelor colleagues, and viewers on TV. Lowe, a former American football player, was the bachelor, while Giudici is a graphic designer. Giudici became the winner of the show out of 26 contestants. The ceremony, in addition to being widely watched, was quite really lavish and extravagant. Everything about their big day was meticulously detailed, which require a lot of investment to do.

According to Life & Style magazine, the entire ceremony was reported to have cost $250,000. While Lowe wore a tuxedo as his wedding attire, Giudici wore a strapless lace fit-and-flare gown. Her 12 bridesmaids wore pink dresses. In addition, the couple had their own wedding bands. Today, they remain married and now have three kids

Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban

A good example of love at first sight is that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who remain firmly in love for more than a decade. Just a year after their first meeting in 2005, they exchanged vows in June 2006. They had their big day in their native Australia in a Catholic ceremony. Guests who attended the ceremony and the following reception were star-studded, including fellow Aussies Hugh Jackman, Russell Crow, and Baz Luhrmann.

In addition to being star-studded, the ceremony was quite lavish. Kidman wore a short-sleeve lace one-shoulder gown made by Nicolas Ghesquiere, which was paired with a long veil. Around 1,000 candles illuminated throughout the wedding venue. Like Kidman’s dress, the flowers were all white. While it was quite lavish, the then-newlyweds asked their guests to donate to a children’s hospital instead of giving them gifts, which is a sweet investment that was done.

Marc Anthony & Dayanara Torres

Despite their relationship being rocky and coming to a nasty end in 2004, Marc Anthony and Dayanara Torres certainly had a very lavish union back in 2000. Anthony was a well-known Latin singer, while Torres won the Miss Universe back in 1993. They had their marriage done in Las Vegas in a ceremony done at midnight shortly after departing from Los Angeles in a private jet. Despite being high profiles, they made an investment to ensure that their big day was done in secret. Only 12 of their friends and family were in attendance.

Two years after their big day, they separated but managed to reconcile. They managed to do so by renewing their vows in a formal ceremony in Puerto Rico’s capital of San Juan. Unlike their Las Vegas wedding, this one was planned more thoroughly, with the reception done at a former military garrison in the city’s old quarter.

Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher

Country-pop singer Carrie Underwood has been happily married for more than 10 years to former professional ice hockey player Mike Fisher.  Two years after they first met in 2008, they tied the knot at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Greensboro, Georgia. Before that, however, Fisher proposed to Underwood with a $150,000 yellow diamond ring, which is a massive investment to her. Like how extravagant the engagement ring that was given to Underwood, the wedding ceremony and subsequent reception were equally lavish, as well.

The ceremony was attended by 250 of their close friends and family. Among them include Simon Cowell, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw. For the ring bearer, Underwood’s dog Ace took on the role. The ceremony, while intimate, was extensively followed at the time.  Shortly after their big day, they went to Tahiti for their first honeymoon, which paparazzi closely followed.

Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston

Perhaps one of the most expensive weddings of all time, the big day between actors Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston is certainly one for the ages. Well, it would never be called the wedding of the millennium for nothing. As expected, the wedding, held in Malibu with 200 guests from family to friends, was extensively covered by the media and fans. Reportedly, the wedding cost was estimated at around $1 million.

Having a million dollars at their disposal, Pitt and Aniston really went all out. The venue featured a 50,000 flower garden, a 40-person gospel choir, highly luxurious lobster and champagne, and a 13-minute fireworks display. For many, such occasions may require lots of money loans to have the level of sophistication and luxury as the couple’s big day had. Sadly, Pitt and Aniston’s romance ended in a separation, though they are now friends.

Anne Hathaway & Adam Shulman

While Anne Hathaway had a private ceremony with Adam Shulman in 2012, the wedding was quite luxurious. Their big day was held at a private estate in Big Sur, California. An estimated 150 guests were in attendance. Before the ceremony even began, the couple and their guests have already enjoyed a night with a rehearsal dinner. The ceremony was held in the Jewish custom, as it is the religion of Shulman. While Shulman wore a tux, Hathaway wore a custom Valentino gown.

Apparently, the couple employed the services of wedding organizers Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove. Among the many things needed to achieve the nature theme include many branches and an estimated $100,000 worth of flowers. The reception featured an all-vegan menu with guests entertained by the jazz trio Social Club. It seems that the couple has made a big investment for their big day.

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon

While Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have since called it quits since 2016, their wedding ceremonies were of opulence. Their first big day was held at Carey’s home in the Bahamas. Only a few guests were in attendance. While the ceremony was quite private, some details about it were known. For one, Carey wore a slim slip dress designed by Nile Cmylo. She finished off her look with a pair of Christian Louboutin stilettos.

While their big day in 2008 is special, it was not the only time they exchanged vows. Since that day, Carey and Cannon made the tradition of exchanging their vows during their wedding anniversary. Perhaps the most opulent was in 2010, with Cannon giving Carey a pink and white diamond-encrusted ring. It seems that despite their split, their lavish investment on their big days is certainly worthwhile.

Carmelo Anthony & LaLa Vazquez

Already well-known in their own right, Carmelo Anthony and LaLa Vazquez certainly had an opulent big day. Before that, they held their rehearsal dinner attended by their close friends and family at a yacht that was circling around New York City at the time. Their big day was still held in New York City, but this time though, it was held at the Cipriani Hotel in Manhattan. When the guests started to arrive, it was pretty much packed.

The ceremony was overall star-studded with celebrity friends of the couple on their big day, which included Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, LeBron James, and Serena Williams. The wedding’s theme included the colors red, white, and black, which was a charming investment for both. It seems that their big day was somewhat a success, as they remained married from 2010 until June of 2021.

Star Jones & Al Reynolds

Even though the relationship between Star Jones and Al Reynolds has been shrouded in mystery and controversy to some degree, their big day is certainly lavish. Prior to that, Reynolds proposed to Jones during a basketball game. The 2004 ceremony was quite publicized. She was reported to have fifteen bridesmaids with her during the ceremony, while the reception was celebrated at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Manhattan. Already, the hotel’s menu was quite legendary around the world. As such, their reception menu was quite extravagant.

As the ceremony went off smoothly, Jones had made something that snagged the attention of most guests in attendance by taking a slew of sponsorships and freebies during the gathering. Due to this unwarranted incident, Jones suffered a consequence subsequently that led to her break off from The View. Overall, the lavish affair was reported to cost millions of dollars.

Paul McCartney & Heather Mills

While many knew the relationship between Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills because of how it ended, their wedding ceremony in 2002 was certainly followed by everyone. The Beatles star first met Mills back in 1999, which, at the time, had already caused a lot of controversies. Regardless, the couple soldiered on and tied the knot in an over-the-top ceremony at a castle in Glaslough, Ireland. The whole ceremony was a massive investment by the two of them.

On their big day, Mills wore an off-white dress, which she designed herself, and paired her bridal look with eleven pink McCartney Roses—a hybrid flower. The wedding reception featured an entirely vegetarian menu, and it was reported that the entire ceremony cost around $3.2 million. Despite the intimacy of the occasion, helicopters swirled overhead, trying to take a glimpse of the couple’s big day howsoever.

Salma Hayek & Francois-Henri Pinault

In the past, controversy surrounded their relationship, but it seems that Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault have managed to hold on for years now. Perhaps this longevity of their marriage can be partially attributed to their lavish wedding ceremony, which required a lot of investment.  While Hayek has been a well-known actress in Hollywood, Pinault, on the other hand, is notable as the billionaire CEO of luxury brand Kering. Prior to it, the latter proposed to Hayek with a $276,000 diamond ring, which she rejected twice before accepting it on the third try.

The couple first tied the knot in an intimate civil ceremony in Paris. However, it was their second and highly extravagant wedding in Venice that really wowed everybody. Apparently, a list of high-profile guests was in attendance. Among them included Charlize Theron. Such a ceremony set in a lagoon city has surely become the wedding that made the couple’s love unbreakable.

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West

While many have been distraught when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West separated in 2021, their relationship has always been a center for media attention, and their big day was no exception. They had their big day in Florence, Italy. Even before that, their wedding weekend was already chuck-full of lavish events. Kim held her bachelorette party in Paris, in addition to a luncheon with only family and close friends in attendance. The couple and their 600 guests had their rehearsal dinner in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles.

Their wedding day was attended by 200 guests, and the ceremony was filled with opulence, which was held at the Belvedere. Created by a Michelin-starred restaurant called Enoteca Pinchiorri, based in Florence, a Tuscan menu was featured at the wedding reception. It seems that the couple really spent a large investment on their big day.

Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson

Jessica Simpson’s relationship with Eric Johnson has certainly been a whirlwind ride, and their big day was no exception. Initially, the couple had planned their big day in 2011. However, in September of that year, the couple postponed it.  Three years later, they announced their big day was to be simple, instead of a highly extravagant ceremony in Italy, as they had planned in the past. They exchanged their vows in July 2014 in front of their close friends and family in Montecito, California.

Despite the fact that the ceremony was downscaled compared to their planned Italian wedding, it was still quite lavish. Even their pre-wedding ceremonies were extravagant, as the couple’s bachelor and bachelorette parties were held at the luxurious Eveleigh restaurant in West Hollywood. It seems that their investment on their big day has paid off well, as they remain married for seven years.

Tiger Woods & Elin Nordegren

Golf legend Tiger Woods spent a modest $1.5 million on his wedding to Elin Nordegren back in 2004. Their wedding was kept under wraps to keep reporters from knowing about it. The couple rented the Sandy Lane Resort in Barbados as well as its helicopter to charter their guests to and from the island. This was quite an undertaking, but Woods wanted to keep this event in his life private for everyone. Being a star himself, it was not unusual to see guests like Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan in attendance.

The guests were entertained by the band Hootie and the Blowfish during the reception, and there was plenty of dining and dancing as the golf star made his wedding one of the most memorable nights for him and his wife. After the festivities, a massive fireworks display was done that capped off the evening.

Pierce Brosnan & Keely Shaye Smith

Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan did not believe that he will find love the second time around. But after meeting journalist Keely Shaye Smith, he found a way to mend his broken heart. The two met each other at a party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and they have been together ever since. In 2001, the couple tied the knot in Ballintubber Abbey in Ireland, with the wedding costing them around $1.5 million. This is not surprising given the fact that the actor has plenty of investment money to splurge on this sweet occasion.

Their wedding was quite star-studded too, not to mention filled with family and friends. It was said that the new Mrs. Brosnan ordered an ice sculpture of The Kiss by Rodin as a gift for her husband. Their wedding’s festivities were capped by an impressive firework display, much to the delight of the newlyweds and their guests.

Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s lavish wedding became the talk of the town when the Game of Thrones star and the musician wed in France in 2019. While they’re known to be a private couple, they recently gave a glimpse into their beautiful wedding on their Instagram, where they shared photos of their extravagant cake, lovely ceremony, and celebrity guests. While we’re not sure how much the two spent on their big day, we assume they hit the million-dollar mark.

Nowadays, the two are busy as new parents after Turner welcomed their daughter Willa in July 2020. While they are yet to introduce their baby to the limelight, the actress has shared photos documenting her pregnancy. The celebrity pair is also getting ready for a new chapter in their lives after selling their Los Angeles-area mansion and calling a moving company to relocate to their new home.

Eddie Murphy & Nicole Mitchell

Comedian, Eddie Murphy, put out all the stops in his wedding to model Nicole Mitchell back in 1993. The actor doled out $1.5 million to have his wedding conducted at the Plaza Hotel with around 500 guests in attendance. Among the star-studded guests included Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, and Prince. They transformed The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza into a stunning wedding venue with various flowers and white carpet. His bride stole the show in an off-the-shoulder white gown complete with French lace and a 12-foot-long train, too.

The feast was impressive as everyone dined in the Palm Court then back to the ballroom, which was then converted into a disco. Needless to say, everyone had a grand time as the comedian, and his new bride knew how to entertain their guests. To his credit, the actor donated the flowers they had to a nearby hospital to help brighten the patients’ rooms.

Elton John & David Furnish

Elton John and David Furnish were partners for a long time before tying the knot. In December of 2014, the couple married, marking the ninth anniversary of their civil union. Fans of the couple also had unprecedented access to the star-studded wedding, as well as an inside look at the couple’s palatial Windsor home and stunning art collection – credits to John’s new Instagram account.

They exchanged vows in front of a giant Gilbert and George painting and a Damien Hirst dove sculpture, which functioned as the altar. Hugh Grant and supermodel Lara Stone were among the A-list celebrities in attendance. The wedding was opulent and extravagant, and it’s estimated to have cost them $1.5 million. The reception was equally as spectacular, complete with pink champagne and the finest cuisine. Their kids Zachary and Elijah served as ring bearers throughout the wedding, which was the most enjoyable part of the night.

Elizabeth Taylor & Larry Fortensky

You know it’s going to be a lavish wedding when Michael Jackson takes you down the aisle. Elizabeth Taylor married Larry Fortensky, a 20-year-younger construction worker, in 1991, and it was a grand affair. They also had a strange prenup that stated that if the marriage lasted five years, Fortensky would walk away with $1 million. Coincidence or not, the marriage lasted precisely that long.

The way it played out for Taylor’s eighth and last wedding adds another interesting aspect to her odd mix of weddings. Taylor chose Jackson’s Neverland Ranch as the location for her wedding to Fortensky. Jackson paid nearly the entire $1.5 million bill for the elaborate ceremony – Who needs personal loans if you have a friend like Jackson? Although the marriage did not last, it did present Taylor with something that she would remember for the rest of her life. She got a stunning $1 million for the exclusive images of her big day. Taylor subsequently used the money to establish her foundation.

Madonna & Guy Ritchie

When Madonna married director and producer Guy Ritchie two decades ago, it was the undeniable “celebrity wedding of the year.” The site was a castle, but this time it was Skibo in the Scottish Highlands. The room is full of A-listers such as George Clooney, Donatella Versace, and Brad Pitt. It was a once-in-a-lifetime event that thrust the premium venue and a sleepy Sutherland town into the international spotlight.

The pop star reportedly spent $80,000 on her Stella McCartney gown and considerably more on an entire Scottish castle for their wedding ceremony and reception. The cost of the food and champagne alone was £550,000. The couple separated in 2008, but the wedding will go down as one of the most expensive in history. The wedding cost the couple $2.1 million, but we are pretty sure they don’t regret spending such an amount given their fortune and investment money.

Kate Moss & Jamie Hince

2011 has formed a memorable year after Kate Moss and Jamie Hince joined the list of celebrity marriages. The wedding took place at St Margaret’s parish church in Little Faringdon, in the scenic Cotswolds in the heart of England. Because of the laid-back festival vibe and celebrity-packed attire, the three-day bridal party was dubbed Mossstock.

Kate’s wedding gown designer was no surprise. John Galliano did the honors, but a Kate wedding gown is undoubtedly a major bridal fashion event. Kate wore a vintage-inspired wedding gown that was a combination of styles from the 1920s and 1930s. Inside was a Cristal champagne fountain, a masked Venetian ball, a children’s tent equipped with ten nannies and two drama teachers (to provide entertainment), and the celebration continued till morning. After all, why not? They shelled out $1.6 million from their investments for a beautiful wedding day.

NeNe & Gregg Leakes

With a second chance at love,  NeNe Leakes demonstrates that if you’ve discovered The One, you should keep him – even if he’s your ex-husband and you don’t have enough fortune and investments.

NeNe and Gregg had been married for 13 years before they split in 2011, but they reconnected and remarried in January 2013. Because they’ve had enough time to mature and grow, NeNe believes their romance will last this time. The opulent wedding ballroom was decked out in all white and welcomed Real Housewives from all around the franchise, including Orange County. Interestingly, Cynthia Bailey, Marlo Hampton, and Jennifer Lewis, the former basketball wife, were among the bridesmaids while Peter, Cynthia’s husband, was a groomsman. NeNe is taking the bull by the horns this time, addressing the challenges she had in a prior marriage and pledging not to repeat them in this one. Although premarital bliss is a beautiful sensation, it doesn’t hurt to have a couple of checkpoints before tying the knot.

Christina Aguilera & Jordan Bratman

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman, a music industry executive, married each other in 2005. The wedding occurred after a stunning proposal in which he adorned a hotel room with rose petals, balloons, and gift boxes, one of which contained the ring. The ceremony took place in a tent erected in the middle of a vineyard in the Napa Valley.

Christina and Jordan went all out to dazzle their guests and celebrate in style. Aguilera wore a $30,000 gown and had a wedding with an ornately decorated winter wonderland theme. Their design included tree branch chandeliers and a one-of-a-kind menu that offered comfort foods like roasted chicken and macaroni and cheese for their visitors. DJ AM spun tracks all night for 150 of their friends and loved ones for an unforgettable celebration that is still spoken about today. The Genie in a Bottle singer splurged on a $2 million party in honor of discovering her sugar-coated candyman – which is not surprising given her fame and investments.

Elizabeth Hurley & Arun Nayar

Due to its lavish grandeur, British model-actress Liz Hurley and Indian businessman Arun Nayar’s wedding was the talk of the town. The couple went to considerable measures to ensure that their wedding was one-of-a-kind. It had everything a fantasy wedding should have, from the English countryside to stately Indian palaces and a spectacular wedding banquet.

Liz and Arun exchanged vows twice, and the event was hosted at Sudeley Castle in England in 2007. In keeping with Nayar’s Hindu custom, the second occasion was in Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. As they shuttled between palaces and a historic hilltop fort around Jodhpur, the couple and their 240 guests were amazed at the degree of spectacle formerly reserved for maharajahs. Following the ceremony, the wedding party proceeded to the city’s massive Mehrangarh Fort, which overlooks the blue-painted city. They dined on Jodhpur’s rich, buttery food, accompanied by traditional Rajasthani singers and flower petals showers.

Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt

British heiress Petra Ecclestone’s lavish wedding to businessman James Stunt made headlines when it reportedly cost $5.5 million. The pair wed in August 2011 at the Odescalschi Castle in Rome, the same place where actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes exchanged their “I do’s” back in 2006. What caught the attention of many was when the couple paid a little over $400,000 for the venue.

It’s also said that Ecclestone made further investments when she shelled out $3.5 million to book singer Alicia Keys, DJ David Guetta, and Black Eyed Peas star Fergie to perform at the reception. A number of celebrities were able to witness the big day, with Scream star David Arquette and fellow heiress Paris Hilton making an appearance. The duo went on to welcome three kids, but sadly, the fairytale wedding was not to last as they went on to go on separate ways in 2017.

Chelsea Clinton & Marc Mezvinsky

Chelsea Clinton married her long-term partner, Marc Mezvinsky, an investment banker, at the Astor Courts residence in New York.

As guests arrived in limos, a no-fly zone was above the Hudson Valley, and adjacent roads were closed. Mary Steenburgen, Ted Danson, Steven Bing, and a handful of congress members and other notable Democrats were among the star-studded guest list. Rabbi James Ponet and the Rev. William Shillady officiated at the event. Chelsea chose a strapless silk organza gown by Vera Wang, who was in attendance at the wedding. The flower-covered chuppah (traditional wedding tent) costs between $35,000 and $45,000. Interestingly, Chelsea and Marc met when they were teenagers and were both students at Stanford University, but their relationship didn’t flourish until late 2005. The pair confirmed their engagement in November 2009, following reports that they will marry in the summer of 2009 in Martha’s Vineyard.

Delphine Arnault & Alessandro Vallarino Gancia\

The wedding of Delphine Arnault and Alessandro Vallarino Gancia was one of the most expensive weddings in history. The couple doled out around $7 million to hold their nuptials, which certainly made plenty of jaws drop. Fortunately, these two came from wealthy families. Arnault is heiress to the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy empire, while her husband is the heir to a long line of Italian winemakers. Money wasn’t an issue back then as both were willing to spend a lot on their special day.

Their financial adviser may have told them that they will be spending a ton for their nuptials, but the two know where to put their money on. The couple exchanged “I do’s” at the Cathedrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Bazas, with the reception held at the Chateau d’Yquem vineyard. It was filled with 5,000 white roses, which transformed the place into an elegant backdrop to the wedding of the year. Sadly, the couple separated in 2010.

Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union had one of the gorgeous wedding ceremonies, let alone photographed. The spectacular event took place at the stunning Chateau Artisan, and they planned every tiny element to some degree. Everything had a meaning, from the colors to the performances to the favors.

As everyone took their seats, their children began walking down the long bridge toward the ruins. The wedding, which had an upscale 1930s atmosphere, featured singer John Legend. The bride donned a lovely Dennis Basso gown, and Wade wore custom Dsquared2, a bowtie from The Tie Bar, and a boutonniére from Floral Fix. There were more than 200 people in presence, including NBA players and celebrities. Essence Atkins and Jaime Mendez presided over the ceremony with just the right mix of comedy and grace. The enthusiasm was all over the place, and they went trending on social media with the hashtag #TheWadeUnion.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle

The list had to include a royal wedding, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s star-studded affair was a spectacular event with a high price tag. The couple embraced both of their cultures in a lavish ceremony watched by millions of people worldwide. It combined the enormous degree of the British royal family with a celebration of black brilliance.

From hiring Sheku Kanneh-Mason, a British cello prodigy, to arranging top-tier security for their A-list guests, it all came at a massive price tag of $45.8 million. Meghan looked like a princess in a unique Givenchy gown designed by Claire Waight Keller, as well as Queen Mary’s Bandeau Tiara. Other extravagant expenditures included $686,000 for lunch and supper parties, as well as a $71,600 lemon elderflower dessert by pastry chef Claire Ptak. This fairytale wedding is indeed an epitome of a happily ever after.

Trista Rehn & Ryan Sutter

The first Bachelorette couple to marry was Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, and their romantic, fairy-tale wedding was breathtaking. They met and fell in love in 2002, not long after Trista reached the final two of The Bachelor. She was so well-liked by viewers across the country that she was an obvious choice to be the first Bachelorette. Ryan attracted Trista’s interest right away with his funny personality and romantic poems, and it wasn’t long before he was down on one knee, proposing to her.

Trista and Ryan married in Rancho Mirage, California, on December 6, 2003. Trista and Ryan’s Wedding included all the behind-the-scenes details of the wedding planning. It featured meetings with celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss and shoe designer Stuart Weitzman himself. The couple used many pink decorations throughout the ceremony, including ombré chair covers in various colors of pink. Well, given their net worth and investment money, they truly can afford such an elegant wedding.

Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello spent $3 million of their investments on their wedding at the prestigious Breakers Palm Beach. With a rehearsal dinner, an elaborate ceremony, and a postnuptial brunch the next day, their wedding celebrations stretched three days.

Sofia wore a lace-brocaded Zuhair Murad princess gown that the Lebanese designer custom-designed for her. She completed her glam look with a cascading arrangement of fresh Phalaenopsis orchids, glistening Lorraine Schwartz gems, and her chocolate locks swept to the side. Joe wore a black John Varvatos suit with a classic black bow tie. Meanwhile, celebrity florist Jeff Leatham decked the halls with a spectacular display of fresh blooms, dangling centerpieces, and towering flower walls. Sofia’s Modern Family co-stars were also among the 400+ guests on the guest list. Sofia and Joe must have thrown a great party because the caring newlyweds solicited the services of medical personnel the next day to provide rehydrating IVs to visitors.

Prince Charles & Princess Diana

The spectacular ceremony, dubbed “the wedding of the century,” was attended by 3,500 guests and seen by 750 million people on television. With two royal degrees spending $48 million in total, their wedding day will be remembered as a fairytale forever.

The wedding took place in London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral. Interestingly, Princess Diana was the first royal to remove the word “obey” from her wedding vows, and she also made the mistake of calling her husband, Philip Charles Arthur George, rather than Charles Philip Arthur George. Princess Diana wore an opulent gown designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel for Alexander McQueen. It had a 25-foot train, the longest in royal history, and full of 10,000 pearls. The pair made up for forgetting to kiss after saying their wedding vows with a public display of devotion on a balcony outside of Buckingham Palace. Their kiss started a custom that the heirs have followed since.

Bianca Macias & Mick Jagger

The union between Bianca Macias and Mick Jagger was one for the books. For starters, the singer wanted to have his fiancée sign a pre-nuptial agreement to ensure that his investments will not be part of their conjugal properties. After Macias agreed, their supposed intimate wedding was surrounded by photographers and reporters who wanted to capture the wedding of the music icon. Fortunately, the wedding took place amidst all the hubbub and was witnessed by both former Beatles members Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney and other celebrities.

Although the wedding took place in the city hall of St. Tropez in France, you can tell that they did splurge on their nuptials a bit. The bride wore a pantsuit, which started a fashion revolution back then. Jagger, who became famous with his band The Rolling Stones, looked dapper in his own suit. The reception was held in Café des Arts, which was a popular venue for many celebrities back then.

Michael Jordan & Yvette Prieto

Regarded as one of the most expensive weddings ever, the union between Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto has certainly wowed many when it happened in 2013. The wedding celebrations reportedly cost around $10 million, which is a lot. The couple held their big day in Florida and was attended by an array of A-list celebrities. The wedding attires were also quite opulent. Prieto’s wedding dress was custom-made and lined with thousands of sparkling Swarovski crystals.

The wedding ceremony was held at Bethesda-by-the Sea church. After the ceremony, the reception was equally lavish, with thousands of candles lighting up the venue. The wedding cake was a reported seven-layer cake, adorned with crystal broaches and the couple’s monogram. Despite the lavishness, the couple asked its guests to donate to charity instead of giving them gifts, which is a good investment.

Prince William & Kate Middleton

The wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton back in 2011 was perhaps one of the most glamorous and lavish wedding ceremonies in recent memory. To mark the occasion, their big day was declared a national holiday across the United Kingdom. During the big day, events were held across the world and an estimated 5,000 parties were held throughout the United Kingdom. In addition, 1 million people lined up the route between Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.

Their wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey was witnessed by 1,900 of their guests. After the ceremony, the newlyweds went to Buckingham Palace in a carriage procession. Afterward, they appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, where they shared an iconic kiss. Just as extravagant as their ceremony was their reception, which boasted a multi-tiered traditional fruitcake. The couple’s big day certainly used a lot of investment money to achieve such a feat.

Grace Kelly & Prince Rainier III

Perhaps one of the most well-known weddings of the 20th century, the union between legendary actress Grace Kelly and Rainier III, Prince of Monaco is the culmination of a relationship that is straight out of a fairy tale story. Just a year after they met in 1995 during the Cannes Film Festival, they made things official in a highly elaborate wedding ceremony, which pretty much involved the entirety of Monaco and required massive investments to be made. The wedding ceremony has since been branded as the stuff of legends.

While the civil ceremony was quite brief and restrained, the subsequent wedding was much more grandiose. Kelly’s wedding dress, designed by Helen Rose, became quite iconic and has greatly inspired countless wedding dresses over the years. The ceremony was attended by everyone in Monaco, along with 700 guests the couple invited. After the ceremony, a reception was held.

Jacqueline Bouvier & John F. Kennedy

What’s it like to shake hands with 900 guests on your wedding day? For Jacqueline Bouvier and Senator John F. Kennedy, it took them more than 2 hours to greet everyone on their wedding back in the 1950s. Their wedding was definitely one for the books, starting with the wedding dress that the bride wore. It has now become an iconic outfit which was made by Ann Lowe. The cost of the wedding wasn’t mentioned at the time, but with around 900 guests, this was one even worthy of royals!

This wasn’t a big deal back then as the groom was poised to take on a tougher role of being the next president. However, at that time, he was more focused on his wedding with the beautiful Bouvier. Diplomats and others in high government offices were present during the nuptials which meant that the wedding was of epic proportions. Their investments on their wedding was huge, no doubt, but with their celebrity status, it was perfect for them.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z

Being a supercouple, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 2008 wedding celebrations had the makings of a highly extravagant yet exclusive wedding. Prior to it, though, the power couple traveled discreetly to get their marriage license. Their big day was pretty exclusive, with only 40 guests reported to have been invited.  For their big day, the couple’s wedding attires were certainly quite sleek and elegant. Beyoncé’s, in particular, was a strapless fit white gown which was perfect for her.

To make the highly exclusive yet charming atmosphere possible, 70,000 of the Halo singer’s favorite white orchids from Thailand, a large tent, a collection of candelabra, and an SUV filled with AV equipment were reportedly required. In addition, there was a ‘no social media’ policy that was implemented at all times. Overall, the occasion was quite opulent, with the orchids alone reported to have cost $5 million, which probably required no money loans for the successful couple.

Audrey Hepburn & Mel Ferrer

Audrey Hepburn once said about being married that if she were to be married, she wanted to be ‘really married.’ Sure enough, she was married to actor Mel Ferrer for 14 years. Their wedding ceremony in 1954 was quite one of the most well-known in the 20th century. Their union was held at the Burgenstock hotel complex in Switzerland.  While the ceremony was kept pretty private thanks to the venue’s exclusivity, it became known for Hepburn’s wedding dress, which has since become iconic.

The actress’ wedding dress was a tea-length, flared dress with ballgown sleeves, satin sash, and a high neck. She paired it with elbow-length gloves. The dress was designed by Pierre Balmain and is given credit as a basis for countless wedding gowns designed since then. In recent years, the dress was sold at an auction for a reported $23,000.

Rose Leslie & Kit Harrington

It is hard to tell how much the Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie spent on their wedding last 2018. After all, the actress’ family already owned the venue which was a real-life Scottish castle. The two first met on the set of the show Game of Thrones, where they played each other’s love interest. To their credit, they kept their dating a secret until 2016. The actor, who played Jon Snow, admitted that his time in the franchise launched more than his career.

The two were very private about their relationship, even more so since they do not have any social media account. The wedding took place on the 700-acre land owned by the Leslies, with the bride wearing a $20,000 wedding dress that made her look absolutely divine. Their co-stars were among their guests, which was fitting given that the two had found each other on the show.

Nicky Hilton & James Rothschild

The union between Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild is quite a highly powerful one. The two are already wealthy beyond measure, being members of elite families with investments and holdings in finance, real estate, and banking. Their lavish wedding ceremony was held at Kensington Palace. The guests on their big day comprised some highly elite figures. The prior pre-wedding party was also attended by a small yet elite guest list.

The couple’s wedding attires were quite glamorous. Hilton’s, in particular, was a custom-made Valentino gown that was finished off with a lace veil. In addition, her shoes were custom-made, as well, with the surname of her husband stitched on it. Equally luxurious was the reception, with lobster, foie gras, panna cotta, and cheesecake among the foods served. The wedding celebrations were quite good, apparently, as the celebrations lasted until 2:30 AM.

The Duke of Huescar & Sofia Palazuelo

Perhaps one of the most well-known recent weddings in Spain, the wedding between Fernando Fitz-James Stuart, Duke of Huescar and Sofia Palazuelo was certainly a grandiose one. They made the tying of the knot in Liria Palace in Madrid, which is the family estate of the Duke of Huescar. Before that, they had a long luncheon on the lawn on the palace grounds, where wine and beer sourced from the family’s own brewery and winery located nearby were served.

Around 750 guests of some of Spain’s and Europe’s elites were in attendance, ranging from royalty to fashion designers to investment moguls. The most notable ones were Queen Sophia of Spain, King Simeon of Bulgaria, and Princess Anne, Duchess of Calabria. After the ceremony, the couple had their first dance, which was a waltz done in front of their guests. The celebrations went on after midnight, even as a midnight curfew was in place.

Chrissy Teigen & John Legend

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s dreamy Italian wedding was a head-turner back in 2013. The two jetted to Lake Como, Italy for their destination wedding ceremony in September 2013. At the reception, wedding guests danced to live performances by the groom himself, DJ Biz Markie, and Stevie Wonder. Legend performed a rendition of All of Me, which made everyone emotional.

What’s even more interesting is that Teigen wore three bridal gowns. As any supermodel would, she chose three Vera Wang creations for her special day. Attendees received special welcome gifts, such as a box that included Prosecco. Another beautiful detail was their four-tiered carrot cake by AFM Banqueting Milano. The lavish event brought out A-listers like Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Brooklyn Decker, Quincy Jones, and more. After the “I do’s,” the lovely duo went on their way to honeymoon. With a wedding like theirs, we’re sure it cost them lots of investment money.

Ellen DeGeneres & Portia De Rossi

Power couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi had an intimate wedding after the Supreme Court allowed same-sex marriage. The two did not waste any time to get married together with their family and friends. They even went all out with their nuptials, though they did not reveal how much they really spent on their wedding date. The best part? Only 19 guests were in attendance for their small wedding which was held in their home.

The couple wore matching Zac Posen outfits. DeGeneres wore an ivory blouse, paired with trousers and waistcoat, while De Rossi wore a tulle gown that comes with a blush pink skirt. The newlyweds and their guests had a scrumptious vegan dinner followed by a red velvet wedding cake which was also vegan. Though the couple planned to have an extravagant and more star-studded wedding, they did dial it back down a bit. Even if they did push through with their plans, they have plenty of investments to back their spending up.

Ashley Judd & Dario Franchitti

While actress Ashley Judd and racing driver Dario Franchitti have since called it quits in 2013, their wedding back in December of 2001 was truly magical. They held their wedding at Skibo Castle in the Scottish Highlands. The castle was witness to many weddings in the past, with the most notable that of Madonna and Guy Ritchie back in 2000. Their big day was attended by a star-studded guest list, which included their friends in the industry and family.

The theme of the wedding was Scottish. Franchitti wore a kilt as part of his attire. Meanwhile, Judd wore an Armani gown and a full-length, beaded lace coat. The overall cost of the wedding celebrations was estimated at around $750,000. Despite calling it quits since then, it seems that their wedding was a fine investment, as they remained married for about 11 years.

Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas

The wedding ceremonies between Quantico star Priyanka Chopra, and singer Nick Jonas was definitely one of the most extravagant to date. The couple’s union may have taken a chunk out of their investment money, but it was worth it especially after they had two ceremonies in India and a Christian ceremony too. It’s tough to really pinpoint how much the couple spent, but the engagement ring alone was roughly around $300,000.

The nuptials took place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, which reportedly cost $60,000 a night. The rooms in the same venue cost around $800, which the couple booked from November 29 to December 3. They also had fireworks display, which was also a bit expensive. Looking back at their wedding, it is guaranteed that they have breached the $1 million mark, but with their earnings, they did deserve to enjoy a lavish wedding.

Karlie Kloss & Josh Kushner

The pairing of model Karlie Kloss and entrepreneur Josh Kushner may seem odd at first, but they have been together for quite some time now. In fact, they were an item in 2012 and only got married in 2018. To their credit, they kept their relationship under radar before they were spotted at the after party for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. More people got to know that they were an item when she started sharing photos of her and Kushner on her Instagram account.

The couple had two weddings. The first one was an intimate Jewish wedding where only 80 guests were invited. A few months later, they held a western-themed wedding celebration in Wyoming with celebrities attending in their best western outfit. The three-day event included renting cabins at $9,000 per night. With the number of guests involved, we’re thinking that they have splurged more than a million on their wedding.

Chiara Ferragni & Fedez

The Blonde Salad blogger Chaira Ferragni and her husband, rapper Fedez, splurged $1 million on their outdoor wedding in Italy. The celebrity couple tied the knot at the Dimora Delle Balze in Noto, Italy, wearing couture from Versace and Dior. Their wedding outfits were a mixture of Italian and French haute couture which is appropriate for their venue. Her bridesmaids wore eco-sustainable dresses designed by Alberta Ferretti.

The couple flew out their family and friends to Italy prior to their wedding and in time for the rehearsal. On the wedding itself, the bride changed to three more outfits which is not surprising given that she was a fashion blogger. To top it all off, their reception involved an amusement park which guests can enjoy. This kind of luxury may be over the top for some, but these two had the investment money to make their wedding a memorable one.

Vanisha Mittal & Amit Bhatia

If you are looking for an extravagant wedding, then the union between Vanisha Mittal and Amit Bhatia, is the one you are looking for. She is the only daughter of the “King of Steel” tycoon Lakshmi Mittal which goes to show that he went all out with his daughter’s nuptials. According to reports, they spent around $60 million for their week-long celebration which was held in different high-end attractions in France.

Where did they use their investment money? For starters, the wedding venue was held in Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte. The engagement ceremony was held in the Palace of Versailles while the Sangeet party was done in the Jardin de Tuileries. The guest list was star-studded too, and it was reported that singer Kylie Minogue performed at the wedding itself. Bollywood stars were in attendance too. Let’s not forget that there were fireworks done at the Eiffel Tower to celebrate the couple.

Wayne & Coleen Rooney

The £5 million wedding of Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin was one of the most lavish ceremonies especially when it was held in Portofino in Italy. How did they reach this number? It included their pre-wedding parties, booking the band Westlife, and splurging on Coleen’s wedding dress. Let’s not forget that she also spent a considerable sum from their investments for dress fittings in New York. They also hired five private jets to bring their guests to the UK and rented a luxury yacht for lunch.

Their pre-wedding parties were quite extravagant to say the least, but with the amount of money that Wayne was earning, he wanted it to be perfect right from the start. Sources stated that the two wanted to be the king and queen of the football world. With these two millionaires, they were able to create the wedding of their dreams that is still being talked about to this day.

You’ve Reached The End
