Happiness cannot be measured by money, or even the outward façade we show the world. This was the case with famous actor Robin Williams, whose tragic death surprised the whole world. His net worth prior to his death took a nosedive and was estimated to be between $50 and $100 million at the time. Insurance proceeds would have topped this up. He owned three houses in Los Angeles, London, and in Malibu, California.

His houses had already been listed for sale including the one at Napa Valley for $29.9 million.  This house features climate-controlled cellars, a spring-fed pond, and horse-riding and hiking trails. All these points to the affluent lifestyle he lived while still working in Hollywood. His waterfront house in Northern California was listed for $7.25 million. This was the site of his death.
