Jon Stewart

He was the long-time host of The Daily Show and is a known political commentator, director, producer, and comedian. Jon Steward was first known for stand-up comedy, but he expanded his skillset and branched out to TV hosting. Jon also co-authored America (The Book): A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction, which became a hit upon its release in 2004. After leaving The Daily Show, he has mostly kept a low profile, though he has been active in using his voice and celebrity status for causes he supports.

The host has recently sold and made a profit on his apartment after selling the $600-square-foot space for $17.5 million. It has a lovely rooftop with an original price of around $5.8 million. He must have a good sense of business and a capable financial advisor as he was able to sell it more than double its original price. He also reportedly paid $7 million for two waterfront properties in Reed Bank, New Jersey.
