Born on May 10, 1960, Irish singer and songwriter Paul David Hewson is well known as the primary lyricist and lead vocalist of the rock band U2. Bono formed his band at the young age of 16 years old to respond to a schools’ bulletin board advertisement. David Evans accompanied him, along with Adam and Dik Clayton. Originally named Feedback, the band has become one of the most famous bands worldwide.
