American actress Laura San Giacomo is well known for her roles in the films Under Suspicion, Nina Takes A Lover and Quigley Down Under. She won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female for the film. Born in West Orange, New Jersey, Giacomo immediately moved to New York after graduating, probably with a moving company’s help. She had appearances in theater productions, such as Garry Marshall-Lowell Ganz’s production of the Wrong Turn at Lungfish in LA.
